Former Mayor attends ‘Yuvak Yuvati Parichaye Sammelan’

JAMMU, Dec 20: Ch Manmohan Singh, President All India Jat Maha Sabha and former Mayor Jammu has asserted that ‘Yuvak Yuvati Parichaye Sammelan’ is a very healthy initiative for tying nuptial knots among the Jat community youth thus relieving the parents of the problem faced in settling the marriage of their wards.
He stated this while attending a ‘Yuvak Yuvati Parichaye Sammelan’ organised at Kota in Rajasthan in which he was the chief guest. Alka Balram Kshatriya, former Member Parliament Gujarat was the guest of honour. The event was organized by social activists Brijesh Choudhary and Ch Jaswant Singh with the aim to facilitate the marriages of children besides discussing some significant issues confronting the society.
Youth from over 200 families along with their parents participated in this event and it proved to be a successful event which is proved by the fact that about 150 families agreed to tie the nuptial knot of their children.
After concluding the proceedings of match making during the event, the participants deliberated in detail on making such events a regular feature and contributing to the social cause of promoting and strengthening the institution of marriage. Several suggestions were put forth by the participants during the event for making Sammelan more fruitful in the coming years.
Ch Manmohan Singh termed the organizing of such events a very healthy step, which addresses the vital concern of the families who are facing problems while seeking alliance for their children.
