JAMMU, Mar 13: Former Mayor, Choudhary Manmohan Singh today inaugurated Kuldeep Eye Care Centre and Optical Workshop at Akhnoor.
BDC Chairman, Darshan Choudhary, Ex Minister, Sardar Harbans Singh, SDPO Akhnoor, Ajay Sharma and SDM Akhnoor were present during the inaugural function.
While addressing the gathering, Singh said it is the first eye clinic equipped with latest and best technically advanced machines. Now the people of Akhnoor and its adjoining areas would not have to travel to Jammu for their treatment.
He satirically said that for youth the glasses and shades were a style but for aged people, it was a necessity. And with this clinic, it is going to become lot easier for people to get their eye problems treated. He also lauded the initiative of Kuldeep Kour for introducing such efficient clinic at people’s doorstep.
Sham Choudhary, Ch Rashpal, Tarsem Choudhary Tehsil President AIJMS Khour, Surinder Choudhary Vice president AIJMS Akhnoor, Ankush Choudhary general secretary AIJMS Jourian, Ch Bhan Singh and Retd Xen, Ashok Choudhary were also present on the occasion.
Earlier, Kuldeep Kour, owner of the clinic welcomed Choudhary Manmohan Singh and his team and thanked him for taking time off from the busy schedule to inaugurate it.
