SRINAGAR, Mar 29: Former Minister, Ghulam Qadir Mir, passed away last night at his residence in Friends Enclave Srinagar.
His body was taken to his native village Lone Harie in Kupwara where thousands of people attended his last rites this evening.
‘Fateha Khawani’ of the deceased will be held on 4th day, 1st April at the ancestral residence of the deceased in Kupwara.
He was initially with the National Conference and later joined PDP and was minister in former Chief Minister’s Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah and Dr Farooq Abdullah cabinets.
