JAMMU, Feb 26: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Councillor Anu Bali along with former MLA Sat Sharma, Naveen Bali inaugurated lane and drain work at Hari Nagar in Ward 24 with an estimated cost of Rs 35.70 lakh, here today.
The land and drain have been in dilapidated condition for a long time and the residents, especially old persons were facing a lot of problems due to its dilapidated condition.
The Councillor Anu Bali while addressing the media persons appealed the general public to come forward and cooperate with Jammu Municipal Corporation in various development works undertaken by the department within the Jammu city.
She urged upon the residents to avoid using single used plastics and polythene in their routine work and don’t throw debris, garbage filth etc in the public drains and nallahs. He also appealed to the locals to adopt the habit of segregation of dry and wet garbage at their own level so that Jammu can be made a neat, clean, green and beautiful city.
Pooja Phull, Sunita Phull, Priya Gupta, Rishav Phull, Sunil Kumar, Akash Phull and many others were present during the event.
