UDHAMPUR, June 11: Former MLA Udhampur Pawan Gupta along with MLA Chenani Dina Nath Bhagat projected problems of their constituencies before Advisors to Governor K Vijay Kumar and KK Sharma and IG Traffic Alok Kumar.
On the burning issues like scarcity of drinking water, irregular supply of electricity with heavy curtailment and defunct traffic arrangements in Udhampur and Chenani assembly constituencies were taken up by Ex MLAs Pawan Gupta and Dina Nath Bhagat with Advisor K Vijay Kumar and IG traffic Alok Kumar.
Ex MLA Pawan Gupta said that the scarcity of drinking water in Udhampur is becoming a burning issue. He also disclosed that irregular supply of electricity and unannounced curtailment is also adding problems among the people in the ongoing summer season.
Gupta while interacting with IG traffic said that traffic arrangements in Udhampur town and its surroundings areas have totally collapsed due to which people especially the students are facing inconvenience. He appealed to IG Traffic to make traffic arrangements effectively.
Ex MLA Dina Nath Bhagat has also highlighted the irregular supply of drinking water in Chenani Assembly constituency. He also disclosed that so many schools of Chenani Assembly constituency are facing shortage of teachers.
Advisors and IG Traffic assured the MLAs that they will discuss the issues with the concerned authorities for redressal.
