Former MLC demands opening of Mughal Road

JAMMU, May 18: The Former MLC, Mohd Rashid Qureshi has demanded opening of Mughal Road for the people of Poonch and Rajouri.
In a handout he said, this road should have been opened in the first week of April for the movement of Gujjar-Bakarwals and Pahari people and for all other persons too.
Qureshi claimed that there are requests from different sections of the society for opening of Mughal Road, which is a viable route available to the people of Peer Panchal region to reach Kashmir.
He also said, opening of this road shall provide easy medical facilities to the people of Rajouri and Poonch.
The Former MLC appealed J&K Lieutenant Governor to look into the matter.
