JAMMU, Nov 24: Former Member Parliament Rajya Sabha, Shamsher Singh Manhas today called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan.
Manhas apprised the Lt Governor of various concerning issues of people as well the elected representatives and submitted a memorandum of demands pertaining to establishment of Gram Adalats; upgradation of health infrastructure of Jammu region; facilities for the attendants of the patients, strengthening paramedic staff in emergency ward of GMC and other departments as well.
He also projected issues related to mining minerals and updation of ration cards for the proper implementation of PDS.
The Lt Governor, while interacting with the former MP observed that the UT Government is working on the principle of people centric governance and making committed efforts for the holistic and equitable development of J&K on all fronts.
The Lt Governor assured the former MP to address the issues projected by him on merit.
