Former MP inaugurates construction work

JAMMU, Nov 18: Former Member of Parliament, Janak Raj Gupta today visited the Christian Colony, Residency Road, here and laid the foundation stone of construction work of Ghulam Rasool Lane and repair work near Penticastal Church lanes in a function organized by All India Masih Seva Dal (AIMSD).
The estimated cost of the construction of the lane is about Rs 7.66 lakh. Earlier, Gupta took stock of the deteriorated condition of the lanes, by lanes and drains of the Colony.
Vice-chairman, AIMSD, Mr Nicodemes, who was the guest of honour, in his welcome speech expressed thanks to Road, Transport and Highways Minister, Nawang Rigzin Zora, former MP, Janak Raj Gupta and Commissioner JMC, Kiran Wattal for releasing funds for the construction of lane work.
The function was organized under the chairmanship of president, AIMSD, Camres David.
