POONCH, May 2: Former Beopar Mandal president, Poonch and a noted social worker Inder Raj Sharma passed away here today.
He died at the age of 76 after a long illness. Thousands of people from all walks of life joined his funeral procession and cremation.
Inder Raj had continuously served as president of Beopar Mandal Poonch from 1987 to 1999 and beside this, he remained Councillor of Ward Number 6 (Now 11) for many years. He worked tirelessly for the down-trodden section of the society.
