KOLKATA: Former Team Indian captain and the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president Sourav Ganguly turned 47 on Monday.
As the cricketer turned 47, his loyal fans as well as his former teammates and cricket administrators and ministers have poured in wishes for him.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in a message said, “Best wishes on your birthday, @SGanguly99. Wish you all the best for your future endeavours.”
Union Minister of State for Finance & Corporate Affairs Anurag Thakur tweeted, “Wishing one of my all time favourites @SGanguly99 a very happy birthday! I recall his master strokes that are now legendary cricket tales amongst the new gen of cricketers! Enjoying your commentary till we meet again.”
Former Union Minister and IPL Chairman Rajeev Shukla in a massage said, “If a Tiger ever walks into the ground, the stands will still cheer one name – Dada.
