JAMMU, Oct 15: Demanding immediate relieving of non-optee ITS officers working in BSNL on deputation, Forum of BSNL Unions and Associations, held a day long dharna at CGMT, J&K Circle Bahu Plaza office and Kachi Chawni Telephone exchange.
The call of trade union action has been given by the central headquarters of Forum of BSNL Unions and Association to BSNL management at New Delhi.
The speakers demanded immediate relieving of non-optee officers working in BSNL on deputation or take back all BSNL employees absorbers/ recruited to Government service at par with non-optee ITS to end discrimination.
Those who spoke were Nisar Ahmed, PK Bali, Amrik Singh, SK Mahaldar, RJ Kaw, Gittan Singh, Raj Singh, Jeet Raj, Bhavuk Anand, TB Gadoo, Vinay Khajuira, PD Sharma and MK Koul.
The demonstration was also held at Srinagar and was addressed by respective district secretaries BA Khan, Showkat Ahmed Showkat and others.
