SRINAGAR June 1: J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir accompanied by Former Union Minister and Senior Congress leader Makhan Lal Fotedar and other leaders visited holy shrine of Mata Kheer Bhawani at Ganderbal today and paid obeisance there.
On this occasion MLC and vice president PCC, Gulam Nabi Monga and spokesperson Farooq Andrabi were also present.
Congress leaders met the devotees, who were there to pay obeisance and enquired about the facilities available to them. They spent sometime there and exchanged greetings with the Kashmir Pandit brethren.
On this occasion G.A. Mir said that Khir Bhavan Mela is an important part of Kashmiri culture as it reflects the Kashmiriyat, in true sense.
The leaders prayed for complete peace in the State and hoped that the auspicious occasion will usher in an era of developmental and tranquility in the State.
