JAMMU, Sept 11: Community members paid rich tribute to Late Thakur Dass, founder of All Jammu and Kashmir Gaddi Sabha on his 3rd death anniversary.
In a programme here today life long struggle of Dass for the welfare and upliftment of tribal Gaddis in J&K was lauded and his services were remembered.
Prominent community members including Dr. R.D Charak, Kewal Krishan, B.K Charak, Ram Parkash and others under the leadership of youth president All J&K Gaddi Sabha, Kuldeep Kumar resolved that works initiated by Thakur Dass Ji for the betterment and development of tribal Gaddi community will be continued despite all hurdles.
On this occasion the Sabha also met elders at Old Age Home Ambphalla and distributed fruits and other things among them.
