Four bovine animals rescued

JAMMU, Apr 21: Four bovine animals being smuggled illegally by some miscreants were rescued by Satwari police.
Acting on a tip off Satwari police established a naka at Belicharana and signaled a TATA Mobile without registration number to stop but the driver of the TATA mobile broke the naka and tried to flee.
However, acting swiftly police men on the naka chased the TATA Mobile and seized the vehicle and rescued four bovine animals being smuggled illegally by the driver of the vehicle, who managed to flee.
A case FIR No 69/2015 u/s 188 RPC and 2/3 CA Act has been registered in police station Satwari.
The bovine smuggling attempt was thwarted by a police team led by In-charge, Police Post Belicharana, SI Vikram Manhas, under the supervision of SHO Satwari, Inspector Kulbir Singh Choudhary, SDPO Gandhi Nagar, Harjeet Singh, officiating SP Udhaybaskar and SSP Jammu, Uttam Chand.
