Four bovines rescued

SAMBA, May 17: Ghagwal Police today foiled a bovine smuggling bid by arresting three smugglers and rescuing 4 cows.
“Acting on the information received from reliable source regarding smuggling of bovines by foot near village Randhwal (Ghagwal), a team of Police Station Ghagwal rushed to the area and rescued 4 bovines with the arrest of 3 persons namely Alam son of Bika, resident of Rakh Barotian (Samba), his brother Atar Din and Billu son of Musa, resident of Malani (Rajpura, Samba), a police spokesperson said.
He said a case FIR number 75/2022 U/S 188 IPC was registered in this connection and investigation started.
