JAMMU, Apr 28: Organized by Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region, the four-day first aid training course for the commercial vehicle drivers and employees of Vimkar Contracts Works, Kathua, concluded today here at Red Cross Bhawan, Kachi Chawni.
The course was organized under the umbrella of St John Ambulance Association Regional Centre, Jammu. During the course, the training was imparted by a team of senior doctors viz. Dr Rajinder Thappa (CMO, Government SMGS Hospital, Jammu), Dr Munish (Senior Orthopaedic Surgeon), Dr ML Sharma, Dr Kavita Nijhon and Dr Rohini Bhan (all Medical Officers, Red Cross Dispensary).
During the course, Ashwani Khajuria, Regional Transport Officer (RTO), Jammu visited the course venue and interacted with the trainees. He impressed upon the participants to provide every possible first aid to the injured to save precious lives.
