JAMMU, Feb 4: Four days training workshop on ‘Low Cost , No Cost Teaching Aid organized by the Department of Science of the college in collaboration with J & K Students Welfare Society, Anantnag and supported by Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, concluded today.
Prof (Dr) Meenakshi Kilam, Director Quality Assurance of University of Jammu was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, Prof (Dr) Kilam appreciated the efforts of the college involving the students in series of skill development programs which will go a long way for further making the teaching-learning process more effective.
Prof (Dr) Ajeet Angral, Principal of the college said that the main focus is to provide the platform to the staff and the students of the college for developing this college as an institution of excellence by organizing various academic and external activities.
Shabir Ahmed Shabir, Dr Jyoti Parihar and Prof Radhika Mahajan were the coordinators. Ram Avtar Choudhury and Dharm Dutt Sharma from Rajasthan Vigyan Society and Mr Abhimanyu Dev Singh from Poona acted as resource person who explained theories and gave demonstrations.
Mr Vijay Kumar and Ms Komal Kotwal presented the detailed reports of the activities undertaken during the four days. The program was concluded with the vote of thanks, presented by Dr Anil Verma, Head of the Department , Science and coordinator IQAC of the college.
