Four daylong workshop on translation held

JAMMU, June 3: Renowned Hindi writer, poet and critic Dr Maharaj Krishan Bharat who is working as Assistant Professor and HoD Hindi in Government Degree College Rajouri participated in four day long short story translation workshop in Shimla HP. During the workshop different short stories of Kashmiri literature were translated into Hindi language.
Among others who participated in this workshop were from Delhi and Jammu & Kashmir. The participants and eminent writers were Prof C L Sapru, B N Betab, Peyare Hatash, Vijay Wali, Dr Veena Budki and budding writers like Rinku Koul, and Nisaar Azam. The main objective of the workshop was to translate Kashmiri short stories into 24 Indian languages and the main source of translation will be Hindi.
