JAMMU, Sept 24: Four fresh cases of dengue were detected today taking the total number of patients affected with this vector-borne disease in Jammu region to 15.
According to Medical Superintendent, Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, Dr Ravinder Ratan Pal, a total of 26 samples were tested today in Micro-Biology lab of the hospital out of which four were found to be positive for Dengue virus.
With this he said the total number of patients affected with Dengue in Jammu region has reached to 15.
When contacted, Dr BS Pathania, Director Health Jammu, also confirmed that four more people were today found positive for Dengue virus.
Yesterday, a youth of Basohli Sub-Division of Kathua district was found to be positive for Dengue virus.
