SAMBA, Oct 29: Continuing its drive launched against gamblers in district Samba, a Police party headed by Inspector Satish Kumar, SHO P/S Ramgarh under the direct supervision of Israr Khan, IPS, SSP Samba and Ashok Singh, SDPO Vijaypur conducted raid and nabbed four gamblers namely Madan Lal S/o Parkash Singh, Ashok Kumar S/o Ishar Dass, Sewa Ram S/o Shankar Dass and Thoru Ram S/o Chajju Ram, all residents of Chang tehsil & district Samba and recovered Rs 1940 as gambling amount and playing cards from the spot.
All were booked under 13 Gambling Act and produced before the court of law. There is a lot of resentment among the people in Vijaypur & Ramgarh area. The menace has also ruined the carrer of the youth.
