JAMMU, May 29: RS Pura police today arrested four persons with 6g of heroin, some syringes and other objectionable items.
According to a police spokesman, on specific information, Surinder Choudhary, SDPO, RS Pura, along with ASI Yougal, Incharge, Kulian police post patrolled in Ward No- 8, RS Pura, during which four persons tried to ditch the police party but alert police party chased and caught them with great difficulty.
During their personnel search, about 6 g of heroin like substance (Chitta), 4 syringes, foil papers, small weighing machine, 4 cigarette lighters and 4 burnt currency notes were recovered from their possession.
The accused were identified as Roshan Lal son of Bachan Lal, resident of Sidher and Narinder Kumar alias Techi son of Satpal, Sunil Kumar son of Satpal and Anil Kumar son of Sohan Lal, trio residents of W No 8, RS Pura.
All the accused along with seized items were handed over to R S Pura police. In this connection, a case FIR No 108/17 under Sections 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act was registered.
