Four held with Rs 4,800 stake money

JAMMU, Feb 13: Police arrested four gamblers along with Rs 4,800 stake money and playing cards near Toph Sherkhania Morh, falling under the jurisdiction of Bakshi Nagar police station.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Bakshi Nagar police station conducted raid near Toph Sherkhania Morh area and nabbed four gamblers along with Rs 4,800 stake money and playing cards.
The accused have been identified as Harvinder Singh, son of Harbans Singh of Rajpura, Sahil Gupta, son of late Purshotam Lal Gupta of Lower Shiv Nagar, Johny Kumar, son of Sat Pal Singh and Raju Gupta, son of late Ashok Kumar Gupta, both residents of Mandlik Nagar.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered against them at police station Bakshi Nagar and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bakshi Nagar police station Inspector Ashwani Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO West Sandeep Choudhary, SP City Dr Vinod Kumar and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
