JAMMU, Nov 3: Akhnoor police arrested four gamblers along with Rs 6360 stake money and playing cards from Sungal Morh area.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Akhnoor police station conducted raid in Sungal Morh area and nabbed four gamblers along with Rs 6360 stake money and playing cards.
The accused have been identified as Yusuf, son of Riyaz, Ajay Massi, son of Thomas Massi and Dimple, son of Afran Massi, trio residents of Kashmiri Mohallah, Ward Number 1, Akhnoor and Johny, son of Yunus Maasi, a resident of Mishriwala.
A case under Gambling Act has been registered at Akhnoor police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Akhnoor police station Inspector Pushpinder Singh made the arrests under the supervision of SDPO Akhoor Naresh Singh, Additional SP Rural Rajeev Pandey and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
