SRINAGAR, Apr 30: Four residential houses were damaged in two different fire mishaps in Srinagar today.
Due to electric short circuit, fire broke out in the residential house of Abdul Aziz Khan son of Noor Mohammad resident of Tabardar which engulfed two adjacent houses of Mohammad Shafi Bhat son of Gulam Nabi and Gulam Mohi-u-Din son of Mohammad Maqbool, resulting in damage to all the structures.
Police said that in a similar accident, fire broke out in the double storied residential house of Muzaffar Ahmad Kamli son of Nizam-u-Din resident of Zakoora, due to which the house was gutted completely. Fire was brought under control with the help of locals and fire tenders. No human loss was reported in the incident, policed added.
