RAJOURI, Dec 17: Four passengers of a bus were injured when their vehicle collided with a truck near Chingus.
According to a police spokesman, a bus bearing registration number JK02BF-1994, which was on its way from Poonch to Jammu, collided with a truck bearing registration number JK02AS-95791 when it reached near Chingus, this afternoon.
He said that four passengers of the bus were injured in the mishap and were shifted to District Hospital, Rajouri for treatment. The injured were identified as Razia Bi wife of Mohd Reyaz, Khalid Hussain son of Syed Mohd, Mohd Rafiq son of Mohd Ashraf and Mohd Hanief son of Mohd Din, all residents of Poonch.
Meanwhile, a pedestrian identified as Azmat Begum of Rajouri was hit and injured by a bike at Rajouri. She was immediately rushed to District Hospital, Rajouri but in view of her serious condition she was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
In both cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
