JAMMU, Dec 18: Four youths were injured when their car rolled down the road in Belicharana area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, four youths travelling in an Etios car bearing registration number JK02AV-2827 were on the way to their respective residences at Sarwal from Belicharana, where they had gone to play a cricket match, when on reaching near 4th bridge in upper Belicharana their car rolled down the road and fell on a stationary Maruti 800 car bearing registration number JK04A-5628 in the yard of a house.
“In the mishap, all the four youths travelling in the Etios car received serious injuries and both the vehicles damaged badly”, the spokesman said, adding, a police team from police post Belicharana led by Incharge, Sub Inspector Ranjeet Singh Rao, rushed to the spot and shifted all the injured to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment.
He said that the injured were identified as Sarthak (26) son of Satpal Sharma, Anil (32) son of late Suresh Kumar, Raghu Sharma (26) son of Kuldeep Sharma and Vikrant Sharma (27) son of Madan Mohan Sharma, all residents of Sarwal (Jammu).
The spokesman said that a case in this connection was registered at concerned police station and investigations started.
