JAMMU, May 8: Four persons were injured after two groups clashed with each other at Makhanpur area here today.
Police sources said that an altercation broke out between one Kanchan Kumar (35) son of Jagan Raj and Rahul Kumar (25) son of Bishan Dass, both residents of Makhanpur, over parking of a bike near the property of Rahul Kumar.
Later, the family members of the duo also jumped into the dispute by attacking each other with sharp-edged weapons, resulting in injuries to four people, they said.
The injured identified as Jagan Raj (65) son of Govind Ram, his son Kanchan Kumar (35), Rahul Kumar (25), and his mother Anita (55) wife of Romesh Lal, were taken to a local healthcare facility in Bishnah, from where they were later admitted to Government Medical College Jammu for further treatment.
Police in Bishnah have registered separate cases under the relevant sections of the law and taken up further investigation into the matter.
