Four injured in Ramban accident

RAMBAN, May 30: Four individuals, including two brothers, sustained critical injuries after a van they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a gorge near Peerah on the Dalwass-Kadma link road in the Chanderkote area of Ramban on Tuesday evening.
The incident occurred when a van (JK02-5356) veered off the Dhalwass-Kadma link road at Paparya near Peerah, causing four people to sustain injuries.
Promptly, they were rushed to the District Hospital in Ramban for initial medical assistance, after which all the four injured individuals were referred to the Government Medical College and Hospital in Jammu.
The injured have been identified as Kewal Singh, 25, son of Kaka Ram; Nittu, 14, son of Khem Raj; Raj Kumar, 25, and Bushan Kumar, 14, all residents of Paparya Tehsil in Ramban District.
Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the law and taken up further investigation.
