JAMMU, Apr 21: A police constable among four persons suffered injuries in separate road accidents in Jammu District today.
A police spokesperson said that Selection grade Constable (SgCT) Neelam Singh (41) son of Mast Ram of Gandoh, Doda, posted at Police Station Domana sustained injuries after a scooty was hit by a motorcycle.
One Tamana (30) wife of Taki Khan of Uttar Pradesh at present Gurah Morh, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu, sustained injuries at Gurah Morh after she was hit by a bus, he said.
Two persons identified as Vipan (25) son of Des Raj and Gulshan Kumar (25) son of Janak Raj, both residents of Kalakam Bhalwal, suffered injuries after the motorcycle they were riding on slipped off the road at Kot area here.
While all the injured have been taken to Government Medical College Jammu, where they are undergoing treatment, cases under the relevant sections of the law also stand registered at concerned police station with further investigation taken up.
