JAMMU, Dec 14: Four persons were injured in separate road accidents in Jammu District today.
A police official said that one Divyansh (10), son of Vipan Kumar of Santra Morh, Jammu, sustained injuries when a scooty driven by his mother was hit by a truck at Govind Nagar camp area falling under the jurisdiction of Police Post Pouni Chak and Police Station Domana.
The teenaged child was sitting as a pillion rider on the scooty, he said.
The injured child was initially taken to Government Medical College Jammu where after preliminary treatment he was further taken to an advanced healthcare facility in Punjab, he said.
He further said that an auto load carrier rolled down the road at Pargwal Deora area in Akhnoor, resulting in injuries to two persons identified as Deepak Kumar (26), son of Daulat Ram of Bhardha, Akhnoor and Anshu Sharma (24) son of Kewal Krishan of Daskal, Akhnoor. They are undergoing treatment at GMC Jammu.
Meanwhile, one Hind Raj (61), son of Dharmpal of Tara Chak, Bishnah, suffered injuries when his motorcycle was hit by an unknown vehicle at Ring Road at Miran Sahib Area. He is also under-treatment at GMC Jammu.
Separate cases under the relevant sections of the law have been registered at concerned police stations and further investigations taken up.
