Four students among five hurt in mishaps

Srinagar, Mar 3: Police today said five persons including four school children were injured in two separate road accidents in Budgam and Kulgam districts of Valley.
A police spokesman said a school bus of PBHS Kawoosa bearing registration number JK04C-8679 collided with a passenger bus bearing registration number of JK01D-3311 at Mazhama village of Magam area of Budgam district, resulting in injuries to four students.
“All the injured were shifted to Narbal Hospital for treatment where from they were discharged after receiving first aid. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
The police spokesman said a truck bearing registration number JK03E-8928 turned turtle near Lowermunda bridge in Jawahar Tunnel area of Kulgam district, resulting in injuries to truck driver namely Mohammad Yaseen Malik.
“The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” the spokesman added.
