JAMMU, Mar 20: Police claimed today that they have seized four vehicles from different areas of the District for mining illegally.
A police spokesperson said that two dumpers were seized by Police Station Gharota, one tractor trolley by Police Post Pargwal, and another by Border Police Post (BPP) Gajansoo.
The recoveries were made by SHO Gharota, Inspector Joginder Singh Chib; incharge Police Post Pargwal, PSI Deep Kumar, and incharge BPP Gajansoo, ASI Ravinder Bhushan.
“The vehicles were mining in violation of a High Court order,” said the police spokesperson.
