JAMMU, Mar 9: At least four vehicles were seized in this district today for mining illegally, police said.
They said that one dumper was seized by Police Station Bishnah, two vehicles by Police Post Phallian Mandal, and one tractor by BPP Gajansoo.
“The recoveries were made by SHO Bishnah Inspector Vikram Sharma, incharge Police Post Phallian Mandal PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal, and incharge BPP Gajansoo, ASI Ravinder Bhushan,” police said.
“The vehicles were mining in violation of a High Court order,” police further said, adding that the DMO Jammu has been intimated about the recoveries.
