JAMMU, Oct 17: An inspector of Forest Protection Force (FPF) was today injured in an assault case at Sidhra area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, Jaipal Sharma (40) son of Ishar Dass, resident of Kalyanpur (Marh), an Inspector rank officer in Forest Protection Force, got minor injuries after he was allegedly attacked by some other official of the Force during an official meeting held today at guest house of Forest Department in Sidhra, over some unknown issue.
The officer was taken to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where after providing first aid he was discharged. The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
