JAMMU : Union Minister of State in Prime Ministers Office Jitendra Singh while condemning the France Attack today said it is an eye opener for those having soft approach towards terrorism.
“Incidents like France Attack must be condemned and I feel that it is an eye opener for those who have soft approach towards terrorism,” Dr Singh told reporters at the sidelines of a Health Mela here this afternoon.
Dr Singh said, “somebody hailing from this part of the country (Jammu and Kashmir) can feel the pain who had been suffering due to terrorism since long.”
“Whatever be the reason but still such acts must be an eye opener for those having soft target towards terrorism, the MoS said.
India has clear ideology towards terrorism and even Prime Minister Narendra Modi has on many occasions spoke on zero tolerance, he said and added, “one must understand that those who are perpetrators of terrorism, will one day become victims of it.”
On a query regarding any assistance by India to France, Dr Singh said, “it is the Ministry of External Affairs who have to take a final call but though India remained victimized of terror activities, we understand it.”
On Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed hinting at Mehbooba Mufti taking over the state affairs, the Union Minister said, “we have an organisational set up and mechanism in place and it is upto high command and senior leadership to take a call.” (UNI)
