Free Camp by Chudamani Sanskrit Sansthan Basohli on Sept 16, 17 for Divyaangs

JAMMU, July 27: A free camp is being organised by Chudamani Sanskrit Sansthan Basohli on September 16 and 17 this year in which Divyaangs will be distributed free artificial limbs and patients with eye problems will also be helped. This camp is being held with the aid of team from Kolkata.
While giving details about this proposed camp, Dr Vikas Padha, Senior Consultant Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement SMVD Narayana Hospital Katra, told that the team from Kolkata will visit Jammu in the month of August to take measurements for artificial limbs and to ascertain requirements. The camp will be held at Chudamani Sanskrit Sansthan Basohli as a two day event on September 16 and September 17 during which patients with eye problems will be attended to on September 16 and artificial limbs to the Divyaangs will be distributed on September 17, he added.
He informed that for this purpose, the needy persons need to register themselves before August 15, 2022 so that they can be contacted when the team from Kolkata visits for taking measurements for artificial limbs.
Dr Sanjay Sharma, Assistant Professor Department of Surgery GMC Jammu further divulged that the target of the camp is to provide artificial limbs to about 200 Divyaangs and to provide help to all eye patients of Basohli.
The needy persons can register themselves for the camp at Chudamani Sanskrit Sansthan Basohli as well as with Dr Vikas Padha (Contact number/ WhatsApp number 9419224220) and with Dr Sanjay Sharma (Contact number/ WhatsApp number 9419144251).
On this occasion, Mahant Rohit Shastri, President of Shri Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan Trust thanked Shri Shakti Pathak DIG J&K Police and Director of Chudamani Sanskrit Basohli for taking this initiative of organising this camp for Divyaangs and patients with eye problems. He appealed to general public to help in registering needy persons in large numbers so that maximum Divyaangs get the benefit of this free camp.
“Divyaangs who are not in condition to travel to Basohli for Camp on September 17 will be provided artificial limbs at parallel camp which will be held simultaneously at Jammu on September 17”, told Dr Vikas Padha while appealing all to spread this message to every nook and corner of Jammu and Kashmir so that needy persons can be helped.
