JAMMU, Apr 5: Five days long free cataract eye operation camp organized by Tawi Welfare Society Jammu concluded today.
More than 200 patients were examined and out of which, 27 patients were got operated by the team of doctors comprising of Dr Nirupama Dogra, Dr Shekhar Sharma, Dr Kamal Gupta, Dr Promila and Dr Jyoti, all from Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar. They were assisted by para medical staff.
On the valedictory function, SDM Jammu Kulbhushan Khajuria was the chief guest, while Kavi Raj, President of the Society, BMO Sohanjana and many others were present on the occasion.
Earlier, the camp was inaugurated by Minister for Health and Medical Education Bali Bhagat.
