JAMMU, Oct 13: A free eye check-up camp was held at village Chumbian Jattan in Bishnah, here today.
The camp was organized by social activists Parshotam Kumar Sharma in association with the Centre for Sight, Rehari Jammu. Local Panchayat representatives and Numberdar of the area extended their active cooperation in organizing the camp.
A team of doctors and Medical professionals, led by Dr Hairat Roshan, Arun Kotwal, Rahul Kumar and Anita, conducted vision check-up and cataract screening of the patients.
Free medicines were also provided to the patients. Those who were examined in the camp, included people of all age groups, particularly women and elderly persons.
