JAMMU, July 26: On the 56th birthday of Gachadhipati Shanti Doot Acharya Shri Vijay Nityanand Surishwar Ji Maharaj, Shree Atam Vallabh Jain Clinic organized a free eye check-up camp at Shri Atam Vallabh Jain Bhawan, Kali Jani, here today.
The camp was organised in collaboration with Dr Om Prakash Netralaya, Amritsar and Sheela Devi Eye Care Centre, Jammu.
During the camp, 340 patients were examined for different problems related to eye ailments and 83 cases were detected which will be operated with Phaco surgery free of cost at Sheela Devi Eye Care Centre, Sainik Colony, Jammu.
Acharya Shri Vijay Nityanand Surishwar Ji Maharaj appreciated the role of Shree Atam Vallabh Jain Clinic and the services being rendered to the patients by the team of doctors headed by Dr Kohli.
General secretary, Pradeep Jain mentioned that the organization has started its eye wing in May 2013 and had organized four eye camps in which 142 free eye surgeries have been conducted.
Speaking on the occasion, In-charge Shri Atmanand Jain Sabha, Inderjeet Jain said that this was the fifth eye check camp organised by the Shree Atam Vallabh Jain Clinic for needy people and more camps would be organised in future.
Chairman, Sudershan Jain thanked the team of doctors for rendering their services and people for joining the camp and making it successful.
Varinder Kumar Jain and Deepak Jain besides various prominent personalities of Jammu city were also present.
