JAMMU, Mar 18: Samvedna Society Chairman, Keshav Chopra, today organised the 95th free eye screening and general health check-up camp for the devotees, Pujari, and Sewadars of Mata Bawe Wali Temple, Bahu Fort.
The camp was inaugurated by Superintendent of Police Jammu South, Ajay Sharma, along with Shagun Manchanda, District Incharge of Mission Shakti (SWD), Sandhya Gupta, State President of RPI J&K, and Inspector Vijay Verma, Station House Officer, Bahu Fort.
The camp was held in collaboration with K D Multispeciality Hospital, led by Dr J P Singh and Dr Sumit Sharma.
A total of 105 patients received free treatment, including vision check-ups, refraction tests, NCT, AR check-ups, and general health assessments. Free medicines were also distributed.
SP Ajay Sharma stressed the importance of regular health check-ups and adhering to prescribed treatments.
He also encouraged the Samvedna team to raise awareness about eye donation and expressed his full support for the society’s efforts.
Keshav Chopra emphasized that the goal of these camps is to improve healthcare accessibility and provide quality medical services to everyone, regardless of their background.
He also promised that such camps will continue in the future to benefit as many people as possible.
Dr Bhavuk Kapoor, Dr Palak Kundal, Dr Neha Sharma, Dr Adil, and many other medical professionals were also present to offer their services at the camp.
