UDHAMPUR, June 11: SaveOnMedicals Clinic, Jammu organized a free infertility health camp for couples who are facing difficulties in having their own child here today in association with SCI Hospital, Delhi.
The camp was attended by more than 100 childless couples. SaveOnMedicals Clinic brings the latest technology in the field of infertility, which ensures the right diagnostic and right treatment of the problem. The team SaveOnMedicals was lead by leading infertility specialist Dr Sunila Gupta and expert infertility lab technicians Naresh and Shubham. Free medicines were also distributed to the patients.
Dr Sunila Gupta counselled the patients in the camp. Many patients had undergone multiple IVF cycles from different hospitals in Jammu and other regions but had not seen any success. Dr Sunila apprised all that they at SCI first ensure that the quality of embryo is tested before they go in for impregnation at the embryo transfer stage. This ensures a far higher success rate than most other IVF centres in the country. Another differentiation is that they use Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)) as a mandatory step for IVF whereas others offer cheaper IVF options because they don’t have the facilities of ICSI process.
“Today’s free infertility camp was just a step towards our endeavour to provide best IVF services to people of Jammu and Kashmir State. SaveOnMedicals plans to conduct similar camps in other districts of the State too”, said Ajay Gandotra, Director, SaveOnMedicals.
