BILLAWAR, Sept 8: Hari Prabhu Sanstha in collaboration with Shanti Path Trust Jammu conducted one day medical camp with a view to provide better health care facilities at the door steps of poor and needy people in the rural and remote area was held at Billawar today.
The camp was conducted by the team of eye specialists and technicians from GMC&H Jammu who checked up and diagnosed 160 patients hailing from different areas of tehsil Billawar, Ramkot and Ram Nagar. Out of these patients, 28 patients were screened for cataract surgery who will be operated free of cost at GMC&H Jammu on September 16.
Besides eye check up, patients suffering from shoulder, cervical, neck pain, joint pain and other muscle tightness and Back pains were also treated with Accua pressure and Yogic exercises by the specialist.
During the camp, free medicines were distributed which were arranged by Shanti Path Trust.
President and general Sectreary J M Gupta and S C Gupta expressed their gratitude to Col (retd) D K Nanda trustee of Shanti Path for organizing such medical camp to benefit the poor and needy people in the remote and rural area.
