JAMMU, Apr 9: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspecialty Hospital, Katra organized a one-day free medical camp at Hari Prabhu Sanstha (HPS), Gujroo, Nagrota.
The camp was inaugurated by ID Soni, chief patron, Hari Prabhu Sanstha and Bal Kishan Gupta, chairman, Senior Citizen Rejuvenation Centre. During the camp, about 168 patients coming from far flung areas of tehsil Billawar, Ramkote and Majalta, were examined by a team of doctors comprising Dr Sandeep Koul (Surgical Oncology), Dr Ankush Sharma (Neurology), Dr Hitesh Gupta (nephrology), Dr Priyanka Koul (Physician) and Vaishali Sharma (Mammography Technician).
The doctors were assisted by a male and two female nursing staff. Free medicines were also provided to the needy patients. The hospital had also arranged a fully equipped medical van for conducting Breast Cancer examination. Free diagnostic facilities for various others tests like BP and Diabetes were also provided to the patients.
General secretary of Hari Prabhu Sanstha, SC Gupta and other members were also present and assisted in conducting the camp.
