Free medical camp organised

JAMMU, Aug 27: On the Foundation Day of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, a free medical camp was organised.
The camp was organised for students, faculty and staff today by Durga Vahini Jammu Mahanagar–a wing of Vishwa Hindu Parishad in Santosh Vidya Mandir, Naseeb Nagar Janipur in association with District Ayush Office Jammu.
Three team members of the Ayush Department including two Medical Officers and one Pharmacist were deputed by Dr Suresh Sharma, District Ayush Officer Jammu for conducting the camp.
Around 150 students, staff and teachers were provided with free Ayush immunity boosters and other medicines. Consultation was also provided by the team of doctors.
Dr. Sanjay Koul while making the people aware talked in detail about importance of strong immunity in fighting COVID-19. He said that Ayush is providing preventive and curative health care to the people.
Arti Kapoor Co-convener Durga Vahini Jammu Mahanagar, VHP addressed the public and highlighted the importance of Ayurveda. “Ayurveda is one of the fewer system of medicine developed in ancient times which is still widely practiced in modern times”, she said and added that the identity of India is based on its culture, traditions and Ayurveda.

The members, Manu Smriti, Principal SVM School, Sandeep Kotach Vice Principal SVM School, Vanadana Devi, Convener Durga Vahini Jammu Province, Geeta Khujuria Vice President VHP Keshav Nagar, Nisha Co-Convener Nagrota, Trilok Singh Negi Vice President Seva Bharti, Raveesh Mengi Mandal President BJP, Renu Khullar, Neeti Kour, Muskan Sharma and Ramesh Sharma were also present on the occasion.
