JAMMU, Nov 19: A one-day free medical camp was organized today by the Health Centre, University of Jammu (JU) in association with Medanta Medicity, Gurugram and Sharp Sight Eye Hospital, Jammu.
In the camp, cardiology and eye check-up were done. More than 130 patients of eyes and about 70 patients of cardiology were examined in the camp. In the past, health awareness camps on carcinoma breast, orthopaedics, cardiology etc were also conducted by the University Health Centre for the benefit of students, scholars, employees and their dependents.
Dr Bharat Bhushan, in-charge, University Health Centre acknowledged the efforts of Dr Ankur Kaushik (Senior Consultant), Sudhanshu Sharma (DGM Marketing J&K), Sandeep Singh Jamwal (Assistant Marketing Manager), Ashutosh Sharma (ECG technician) from Medanta Medicity for making the medical camp successful.
