Free medical camp organized

Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, Apr 6: A free medical camp was organized at Panchayat Ghar, Nandor in Nagrota area of Jammu by 160 Battalion, Central Reserve Police Force Headquarters, BCS, Nagrota (Jammu). During the camp, Angom Naresh Singh, Kamaljit Kumar, Second Command Officer 160 Battalion Dr Simidhi Raina, Dr Kalpalata (Civil Hospital, Nagrota) and Dr Manmohan Meena (Medical Officer, 160 Battalion), conducted medical examination of the local citizens and gave them information regarding prevention of serious diseases as well as changing lifestyle. Causes, symptoms and prevention of the diseases caused due to diabetes, including heart disease, diabetes, migraine, fatty liver etc., were explained to the visiting people. The medical officer also provided medicines for various types of diseases to about 250 citizens as per requirement. Speaking on the occasion, Hari Om Khare (Commandant, 160 Battalion) informed that keeping in mind the mantra of 'Pahlasukh Nirogikaya', health checkup of all the citizens has been done and desired medicines have also been distributed to them as per requirement. He said 160 Battalion CRPF has been organizing such medical camps from time to time as their aim is to ensure that the local citizens living in the area remain physically and mentally healthy. Rajendra Singh (Sarpanch) and Vijay Singh (Panch Nandor, Nagrota) were also present on the occasion.
