JAMMU, Oct 9: A free medical camp was organized today by police station Gharota at Rabta-a far flung area of Jammu.
Dr Neeraj Sharma (MD Internal Medicine, DNB Cardiology) along with Orthopaedician Dr Arban Bhagat, General Physician Dr Sachin Sharma and Pharmacists–Sushil Kumar, Vikas Dogra and Anita Kumari provided medical services during the camp.
Hundreds of patients including women and elderly people visited the camp for check up and treatment thereof. Free medicines besides tests including ECG, Blood Sugar etc were also conducted at the camp.
SDPO Akhnoor Varun Jandial while supervising the camp said that the aim of organizing such camps was to provide medical facilities to far flung areas as people of the area have raised these issues in PCPG meetings organized by J&K police from time to time.
The camp was organized by SHO police station Gharota Khaytimaan Khajuria under the guidance of SP Rural Sanjay Sharma.
