SAMBA, Mar 15: A free medical camp was organized by 38 Battalion of CRPF under the Civic Action Programme in Reyian area of Samba today. The camp was inaugurated by the Pradeep Chandra, Deputy Inspector General, CRPF who was the chief guest on the occasion.
During the camp, the health of the local people of the village was examined by the unit doctor and free medicines were also provided to the people. CRPF jawans also provided physical assistance to the physically weak and physically challenged people. Commandant of 38 Battalion, Dhirendra Verma, CRPF officers Devendra Singh, Sarvjeet Singh, Rajesh Kumar Sharma and jawans of the battalion were also present during the programme.
Dr. Amit Kumar, Senior Medical Officer 38 Battalion and local doctors, Dr. Sushil Sharma, Dr. Zahida Choudhary, Dr. Safia Akhtar contributed significantly in organizing the medical camp. Village dignitaries and local persons, police personnel and public groups expressed their gratitude for this medical camp organized by 38 Battalion and also expressed their desire to organize such camps in future.
