KATHUA, Oct 17: A free surgical camp was conducted in Bani, which was organized through collaboration between the SOS Memorial Trust Delhi, led by Dr. K.S. Charak and the Department of Health and Family Welfare of Kathua. This initiative aims to provide specialized medical services to over 2,000 beneficiaries from the hilly regions.
The camp is offering a range of comprehensive medical care, including 40 major and minor surgeries, with a particular focus on orthopedic and gallbladder procedures. The use of modern equipment has facilitated efficient service delivery, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care.
The district administration, under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rakesh Minhas, along with Chief Medical Officer Dr. Vijay Raina and Block Medical Officer Dr. Dev Raj, has played a pivotal role in the seamless execution of the camp. Dr. Raina has actively engaged with patients throughout the event, receiving positive feedback regarding the treatment and care provided.
