Freight rates decline on excess position of trucks

NEW DELHI, Mar 16:  Freight rates for ten tonne pay load for select destinations declined by Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market today following ample position of trucks against less cargo movements.
Transporters said huge availability of trucks and tight cargo movements, mainly pulled down some of centres freights.
Capital to Bangalore, Mysore and Vijaywada rates moved down by Rs 1000 each to Rs 63,000, Rs 68,000 and Rs 51,000.
Rates to Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad also went down by Rs 1000 each to Rs 15,000, Rs 21,000 and Rs 47,000.
